This plane is a handful to fly. Mostly because it is small and fast. I put an O.S. 25 ringed engine on it and moves along pretty good and looks good in the air too. It is difficult to gracefully land and bounces like 10 times before it stops. I have to put it on high rates and try to slow it down and flare is big time to somewhat gracefully land it without the bounces. It will snap on you in a heartbeat on a tight turn so be carefull if you get one. Overall, I like the airplane.

This is actually my second P-40. The first one died when the elavator wire came loose and noised into the dirt. It had an O.S. 25LA on which broke completely in half. I bought another airplane and put the O.S. 25 ringed engine on it (above).
