Glow RC Airplanes

My Glow Airplanes

SIG Kadet
I started flying with a SIG LT 40 using an O.S. 40LA engine. This is a great trainer because with a 40LA and a 10x6 prop this is a slow gentle airplane to fly and make your beginner mistakes on. Kind of like the 'Little Old Lady on the Expressway'.

Great Planes Super Sportster

I flew my SIG for about 2 months and I bought a low wing Great Planes Super Sportster. I put an O.S. 46AX in it and it is a screamer. I learned quickly that you can't land a Sportster like a trainer. (broke a wheel off when the wing stalled abouth a foot off the runway) But after learning that I really liked flying this plane. It is fast and turns on a dime.

World Models Groovy 50 3A

Then I bought a World Models Groovy 503A and put an O.S. 70 4-stroke on it. This is a pattern plane although I am not a pattern flyer this plane is a lot of fun. It is fast and flies l;ike it is on rails.

Pheonix SpitFire

Then I got a Pheonix Spitfire. It has a. O.S. 46AX on it. Crashed it 3 times before I ever flew it. I really like it now. Fast plane that likes to go fast and land fast.

Great Planes SuperSkyBolt

Then I got a Great Planes Super SkyBolt and put a Saito 100 4-stroke on it as pictured in my living room (when I was a bachelor).
